Clock, Service Install - as of MY '91

Note

Remove hazard warning switch only in "ON" position.

Remove

Switch hazard warning switch to "ON" position and pull out of instrument panel. Lever out ventilation nozzle with plastic wedge from housing. Note lower bearing (1) of ventilation nozzle.

Remove instrument assembly cover.

Unscrew fresh air nozzle housing and remove from instrument panel.

Remove blind cover from fresh air nozzle housing.

Remove lower storage compartment in driver's side (2 screws), fuse box cover, release fuse box and detach.

On LHD remove fuses 16 and 14, and on RHD fuses 16 and 13 from fuse box.

Turn fuse box (reverse side accessible).

Install

Install clock from front in fresh air nozzle housing. Ground cable of clock to ground point below the steering column. Positive cable of clock to fuse box, connect with splice connector at output of fuse no. 16.

Connect cable for clock illumination with splice connector at output of fuse no. 13 for LHD or no. 14 for RHD.
