When operating the unit (vehicle stationary), the stream must reach the point marked on the window as shown in illustration D 4894.

If the tailgate is replaced, drill a hole 12 mm/0.47 in.

in diameter for the spray nozzle

Drill hole 11 mm/0.043 in. in diameter on the inside of the hatchback lid. Note punch marks as guides. Use centre bit.
