Note:
If the TECH 1 display INHIBIT appears, there is a
short circuit to battery voltage in one of the mirror circuits. The mirrors
cannot be actuated.
If the TECH 1 display OKAY appears, there is no short
circuit to battery voltage in the mirror circuits. There may however be other
faults.

Note: If
the TECH 1 display shows INHIBIT,
or one of the mirror adjustments cannot be performed, carry out test section
nos. 21 to 32.

· Short circuit to battery voltage in
circuits for co-driver's outside mirror, inside mirror

|
· Separate wiring harness connection X12,
body/ co-driver's door (bayonet catch)
|
OKAY
|
· Short circuit to battery voltage in
circuit for co-driver's outside mirror; proceed with test step nos. 29 to 32
|
|
|
INHIBIT
|
· Short circuit to battery voltage in
circuit for inside mirror
|
|
· Remove inside mirror. Release 12-pin
wiring harness connection and disconnect
|
OKAY
|
· Short circuit to battery voltage in
circuit for inside mirror; proceed with test step nos. 25 to 28
|
|
|
INHIBIT
|
· Short circuit to battery voltage in
body wiring harness
|
|
|
|
|
|
