· Using multimeter, measure resistance at
9-pin plug between Ter. 2 (black) and Ter. 1 (colourless)

· Memory key S40.3 defective (switch
contact does not open)
· Lead short circuit between 9-pin plug
and S40.3

· Using multimeter, measure resistance in
9-pin plug from Ter. 1 (colourless) and Ter. 2 (black) to ground

S40.3 and 9-pin plug Ter. 1 (colourless) or Ter. 2 (black)
