Centre Console, Remove and Install (up to MY

Storage compartment (4), if fitted with optional equipment
"telephone fittings" - see operation "Console, Remove and Install"
in group "R". Rear mixed air nozzle housing (5) - see operation
"Housing - Rear Mixed Air Nozzle, Remove and Install (up to MY
2000)" in group "D".
For vehicles with manual transmission, detach gearshift lever
folding cover.
For vehicles with automatic transmission: Lever off selector
lever cover (2), remove selector scale (6) and "winter program" tip
switch (3) – see operations "Selector Scale, Replace" and
"Tip Switch – "Winter Program", Replace" in group "K (AT)".
Unclip selector lever console (1).

Detach folding cover for parking brake lever (2), cover for
centre console (1), release and disconnect wiring harness plug for
electric window winder (3).
Release centre console at rear (4) and
remove backwards.
- Models M35, P35, M69, P69
- Models F35, F69

Release centre console and pull out backwards.
Install
|
Push centre console into front catches and fasten, wiring
harness plug for electric window winder, folding cover for parking
break lever, centre console cover, selector lever console. Tip
switch for "winter driving program", selector scale, selector lever
cover, push rear centre console from rear to front and fasten, rear
mixed air nozzle housing, console, storage compartment.
