Motor with lead and plug (motor winding, and lead for passage)

Coup- ling Ter. 1

Coup- ling Ter. 2

·   Seat removed

·   Release wiring harness connection of malfunctioning motor and disconnect

·   Measurement at wiring harness coupling on motor side

between 1.6 and 9.5 W

Note

Test step applies for all motors in driver's seat and co-driver's seat

·   If nominal value is attained: test step 10

Possible Fault:

(If nominal value is not attained)

1.  Lead interruption or lead short circuit between motor and 2-pin wiring harness coupling

2.  Motor defective
