Front seat backrests recline by themselves.

Cause:

Operating force of adjusting wheel too low.

Production Solution:

Remedy:

Install an additional spring washer:

- Remove the seat.

- Detach the seat cover on the inner side.

- Hit the bond bushing (B) at the shaft back for a short distance and detach the cup spring.

- Detach the bond bushing (B) with a pulling-off device.

- Install the additional spring washer (A).

- Only Vectra-A, Omega-A: Fit an additional disk.

- Assemble in reverse order.
