Cushion/Upholstery - Rear Seat Backrest, Remove
and Install - Models F35, M35, P35
 Remove
Rear seat backrest - see operation "Rear Seat Backrest, Remove
and Install - Models F35, M35, P35".

Left-hand half of rear seat backrest only: Centre armrest - see
operation "Centre Armrest - Rear Seat Backrest, Remove and
Install". Detach side panelling (1), centre armrest panelling (2),
inner hinge of centre armrest (7), upholstery in area of centre
armrest (I) - bend open metal tabs. Unclip centre rear headrest
upholstery (3), remove retaining clips of centre rear headrest (5)
forwards (illustration shows rear seat backrest without cushion),
pull out centre rear headrest (4) upwards, drive out guide sleeve
of centre rear headrest (6) upwards. Remove centre rear headrest
upholstery.

Note: The guide
sleeve for the rear centre headrest must be replaced by a new
part.
Remove
|
Detach upholstery from entire perimeter of rear seat backrest
(rear side).
Detach cushion and upholstery from rear seat backrest frame. For
left rear seat backrest half only: Unclip cover for rear centre
seat belt.
Remove retaining clips for outer headrests (2) to side, remove
outer headrests with guide (1). (Illustration shows rear seat
backrest with cushion removed).
Cushion and upholstery from rear seat backrest, thread rear
centre seat belt out of cushion, detach upholstery from cushion,
upholstery.

Install
|
Attach upholstery to cushion, slide retaining clips for outer
headrest into headrest guide sleeve until they engage at the sides
in guides (1), thread rear centre seat belt into cushion.
Cushion and upholstery to rear seat backrest, entire perimeter
of upholstery to rear side of rear seat backrest, attach upholstery
near centre armrest – bend back metal tabs, centre armrest
hinge.
Clip in upholstery for rear centre headrest, slide retaining
clips for rear centre headrest into rear centre guide sleeve until
they engage, press new guide sleeve for rear centre headrest into
rear seat backrest until it engages, rear centre headrest.
Push outer headrest and guide into guides until they engage,
cover for rear centre seat belt.
Centre armrest panelling, centre armrest, panelling at sides,
rear seat backrest.
