Replace service connection valve - air conditioning charged

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Detach service connection cap
•   See "Position of Service Connections - Petrol Engines" and "Position of Service Connections - Diesel Engines"
Note:   It is only possible to replace the valve on the low pressure side with the system charged
3.   Prepare valve core replacement tool
•   Attach tool for unscrewing and removing valve )1)
•   Attach sealing cap (2)

4.   Connect valve core replacement tool to service connection
5.   Open shut-off valve (1) fully
6.   Push in valve unscrewing and removing tool (2) in the direction of the arrow and unscrew and remove valve

7.   Draw out valve unscrewing and removing tool (1) and close shut-off valve (2) completely
8.   Detach valve unscrewing and removing tool (1) from valve core replacement tool

  Install

9.   Remove old valve core (1) from valve unscrewing and removing tool and insert new valve core

10.   Attach valve unscrewing and removing tool to valve core replacement tool
11.   Turn shut-off valve to open it completely
12.   Push in valve unscrewing and removing tool and screw in valve
13.   Open filler aperture (1)
•   Check valve for leaks

14.   Detach valve core replacement tool from service connection
15.   Attach service connection cap
16.   Close bonnet
