Axle Alignment Values

Tigra, Omega-B

 

 

Condition:

 

This Technical Information Bulletin contains a summary of the axle alignment values for the above vehicles.

 

 

The values specified in the Service Instructions are hereby rendered invalid.

 

 

The information on checking and adjusting operations in the relevant Service Instructions must be observed as before.

 

 

Note:

 

Following preconditions must be fulfilled:

·   Disc wheels and tyres in good condition

·   Tyre pressure set to full load

·   No excessive wear on suspension and steering linkage parts

·   Bring vehicle into alignment position:

·   Tigra

-    70 kg on each front seat

-    Fuel tank approx. 1/2 full

 

·   Omega-B

-    70 kg on each front seat

-    Fuel tank full

-    Front axle: permissible difference in length of two tie rods = 5 mm/0.2 in.

-    Rear axle: permissible difference in length of two adjustment pieces for auxiliary control arms = 3 mm/0.12 in.
