· If
the vehicle reference speed is higher than 12 km/h (7.5 mph) after
first starting the vehicle, while the speed of an affected rear wheel remains
at approx. 2 km/h (1.2 mph)
· If
no speed is measured at the affected wheel during 20 ms at a speed
higher than 40 km/h (25 mph)
Effects:
· ABS
is switched off
· ABS
telltale is switched on
Note:
If a fault is recognized,
pressure is built up at one front wheel and reduced at the rear axle (up to
cutoff)
If a fault is recognized at one
wheel being controlled by ABS, the ABS is switched off immediately. If
several wheels are being controlled, the ABS is switched off after the end of
the control.
