FL SOL. VALVE

 

Conditions for Checking

Nominal Value

 

Affected Terminals:      U 4.8 Ter. 1 / 2

Possible Trouble Codes:         16

 

Raise vehicle until wheels can be turned freely;

Secure vehicle against rolling away;

On vehicles with AT, shift selector lever in "N", on vehicles with MT shift into neutral;

release parking brake

Ignition ON

 

In the F0: DATA LIST of the TECH 1, check the following parameters for correct functioning:

FRONT WHL SPEEDS   REAR WHL SPEEDS

VALVE RELAY        BRAKE SWITCH

 

Carry out actuator test for the return pump relay and check for correct functioning

 

 

Press F5 in the system main menu, select desired test with arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow instructions in the TECH 1 display.

 

Note:

For the last check of this actuator test (PRESSURE RELEASE function) - after checking the return pump - the system asks whether the wheel to be checked can be turned freely.

                 RELEASE FUNCTION

                 WHEEL TURNABLE?

Relative to earlier questions, the wheel is more difficult to turn at this point of the actuator test than on the previous checks. The wheel must not however be blocked.
