TC Telltale (only with Traction Control)

 

The TC telltale is located in the instrument assembly (tachometer). When the ignition is switched "ON", the TC telltale illuminates. After approx. 3 sec., the TC Telltale extinguishes; The Traction Control is ready for operation.

If the TC telltale remains illuminated after ignition "ON" or it illuminates while travelling when the Traction Control is activated, there is a fault in the system.

 

Traction Control activity is indicated by flashing of the TC telltale. If the Traction Control is switched off via the TC switch, the TC telltale illuminates until the TC is reactivated by renewed actuation of the TC switch.

 

The Traction Control is automatically activated when the vehicle is started.

The TC telltale can be checked using the TECH 1 actuator test.
