·   With ignition ON (after the switch - on test has elapsed) a lead interruption for longer than 1 s

·   A lead interruption is recognized if the voltage at the brake lamp switch is in the range of 50 % to 75 % of the battery voltage

Effects:

·  The status of the brake lamp switch cannot be checked by the control unit

·   ABS is not switched off
