BATTERY VOLTAGE OUT OF RANGE

·   Monitoring is activated after switch - on test. Battery voltage is measured continuously and assessed periodically

·  Battery voltage is less than 8.8 V with ABS active (braking and ABS is required)

·  Battery voltage is not in the range of 9.4 V to 17.3 V with ABS inactive (braking and ABS is not required).

Effects:

·  Correct functioning of the ABS valves and the return pump is no longer ensured

·  ABS is not switched off

·   ABS telltale is switched on

Note:

While voltage is too high or too low, the ABS valves are switched passively and a possible start of the return pump is prevented.
