 Remove
Remove corresponding wheel.
Inspect
Fasten brake disc with a wheel bolt and an approx. 10 mm thick
spacer washer opposite the locking screw. Fasten Measuring Device
MKM-571-B to brake caliper or to spring strut with magnetic base.
Attach gauge probe vertically to brake disc approx. 10 mm from the
outer edge of the brake disc with slight pre-tension. Max.
permissible lateral runout 0.1 mm. If lateral runout is greater,
remove brake disc, check contact surfaces, check wheel hub for
runout – see operation "Radial and/or Lateral Runout of Wheel
Hub, Check" in group "F". Repeat measuring procedure.
