Function of radiator fan relay K26

·   Ignition on

·   Disconnect wiring harness plug from coolant temperature switch S88 and bridge contacts 1 and 2 in wiring harness plug.

Radiator fan motors M4 and M11 start opera - ting. Relay box fan motor M28 starts opera -ting

·   Measure only if function is not OK.

·   Disconnect wiring harness plug from coolant temperature switch S88 and bridge contacts 1 and 2 in wiring harness plug.

·   Ignition on

Possible cause of fault, trouble - shooting:

1.    Fuse F50 defective.

2.    Fuse F52 defective.

3.    Coolant temperature switch S88 defective (see S88).

4.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (4) and fuse output F52.

5.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (2) and fuse output F52.

6.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (3) and fuse output F50.

7.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (6) and coolant temperature switch S88 / Ter. (2).

8.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (8) and radiator fan motor M11 / lead RTWS.

9.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (5) and radiator fan series resistor R19 / lead RTBL.
