  Remove

Attach engine lifter MKM-883-1 to vehicle together with retaining hook MKM-883-4-A.

Attach Engine Lifter MKM-883-1 to engine transport shackles – slightly raise engine.

Remove vibration damper (1) from front axle body bracket and engine bracket.

Remove engine damping block fastening nuts from engine bracket and front axle body.

Lift engine using Engine Lifter MKM-883-1 and remove engine damping blocks.

Caution

Do not damage lug (2).

  Install

Insert engine damping blocks.

Lower engine using Engine Lifter MKM-883-1.

Caution

Lug (1) must engage the opening in the front axle body.

  Install

Engine damping blocks to front axle body – tightening torque 55 Nm / 41 lbf. ft.

Engine damping blocks to engine bracket – tightening torque 40 Nm / 29.5 lbf. ft.

Attach vibration damper to front axle body bracket and engine bracket – tightening torque 40 Nm / 29.5 lbf. ft.

  Remove

Detach engine lifter MKM-883-1 from vehicle with retaining hook MKM-883-4-A.
