Remove intake manifold – see operation "Intake Manifold, Remove and Install".

Remove fuel return line (2) from injection pump. Collect escaping fuel.

Disconnect wiring harness connector from fuel cutoff solenoid valve.

Remove solenoid valve (1).

Remove valve spring (4) and valve piston (3).

  Install

Insert valve spring (2) and valve piston (1).

Install fuel cutoff solenoid valve and new seal (3) in injection pump – tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.

Attach wiring harness connector to fuel cutoff solenoid valve.

Attach fuel return line and new seals to injection pump – tightening torque 23 Nm / 17 lbf. ft.

Install intake manifold – see operation "Intake Manifold, Remove and Install".
