Insert new oil filter.
Replace oil seals (1, 2 and 3) in metal cover and on the
attachment screw. Replace oil seals (4, 5 and 6) on plastic
cover.
Attach oil filter housing cover to oil filter housing

Metal cover

– tightening torque 30 Nm / 22 lbf. ft.
|
|
Plastic cover
|
– tightening torque 25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft.
|
Attach oil drain plug and new oil seal to oil pan
|
– Tightening torque
|
M 12 x 1.5 25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft.
|
|
|
M 16 x 1.5 45 Nm / 33 lbf. ft.
|
Close service opening in lower engine compartment cover.
Fill with specified amount of engine oil. Start engine and run
until oil pressure telltale extinguishes.
Turn engine off. Check engine oil level, correcting if
necessary.
