Engine at operating temperature (oil temperature >= 80 °C).

  Remove

Remove lower engine compartment cover.

Disconnect wiring harness connector (1). Remove oil pressure switch (2). Collect escaping engine oil.

  Install

Install Adapter KM-830 (4) together with KM-498-B (3). Check engine oil level, correct if necessary. Oil pressure: min. 150 kPa (1.5 bar) at an idle speed of 750 ± 50 rpm.

  Remove

Remove Adapter KM-830 in conjunction with KM-498-B. Collect escaping engine oil.

  Install

Connect oil pressure switch (2) and new seal to oil filter housing – tightening torque 40 Nm / 29.5 lbf. ft.

Connect wiring harness connector (1).

Install lower engine compartment cover - tightening torque 5 Nm / 3.7 lbf. ft.

  Inspect

Start engine and allow to run until oil pressure telltale extinguishes.

Turn engine off. Check engine oil level, correcting if necessary.
