Vehicles:

Omega-B with 25 DT diesel engine

Proceed as follows with the above-mentioned Special Service Tools:

KM-810 (black version) is to be disposed of - a modified version will be sent free of charge. The new designation is KM-810-A (yellow version).

With KM-824, widen the inside diameter down to a depth of 27 mm/1.06 in. (II) to ø 42.5 mm/1.67 in. (I), as shown in illus. F 6580.

This change makes installation and removal easier. Designation KM-824 has been given the extension "-A" (KM-824-A).

KM-835 is to be changed following the dimensional specifications and illus. F 6581 on the side for the following engines designated:

25 DT, C 16 XE, X 14 XE

I        =            ø 27 mm

II       =                 5 mm

III      =               20 mm

A       =                    20 °

B       =                    45 °

This change must also be documented by adding the extension "-A" to the tool (KM-835-A).

For  all other engines for which Tool KM-835 is approved, either KM-835 or KM-835-A may be used.

The Service Instructions will be appropriately updated in the course of their revision.

The changes have already been taken into account for repeat orders of any of these tools.
