Oil Pan, Remove and Install
 Remove
|
Remove dipstick guide tube – see operation "Dipstick guide
tube, remove and install".
Disconnect wiring harness plug for dynamic oil level control
(2).
Disconnect hydraulic pump holder attachment screws (1) from oil
pan.

|
Attach engine lifter MKM-883-1 to vehicle together with
retaining hook MKM-883-4-A.
Attach Engine Lifter MKM-883-1 to engine transport shackles
– slightly raise engine.
Remove vibration damper (1) from front axle body bracket and
engine bracket.
Detach fastening nuts for engine damping blocks from front axle
body.
Lift engine using Engine Lifter MKM-883-1.
Caution
Do not damage lug (2).
Remove
Remove oil pan attachment screws to cylinder block, timing case,
rear end plate and transmission (25 screws).
Carefully remove oil pan.

 Clean
Remove seal residue, clean sealing surfaces.
Install
Carefully insert oil pan with new seal.
Connect oil pan attachment screws to
cylinder block, timing case, rear end plate and transmission
|
|
– Tightening torque (M6)
|
10 Nm / 7.5 lbf. ft.
|
|
|
– Tightening torque (M8)
|
20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
|
Connect hydraulic pump holder – tightening torque 22 Nm /
16 lbf. ft.
Connect dynamic oil level monitor wiring harness connector.
Install oil dipstick guide tube – see operation "Oil
Dipstick Guide Tube, Remove and Install".
Install
|
Lower engine using Engine Lifter MKM-883-1.
Caution
Lug (1) must engage the opening in the front axle body.
Install
Engine damping blocks to front axle body – tightening
torque 55 Nm / 41 lbf. ft.
Attach vibration damper to front axle body bracket and engine
bracket – tightening torque 40 Nm / 29.5 lbf. ft.
Remove
Detach engine lifter MKM-883-1 from vehicle with retaining hook
MKM-883-4-A.
