Remove cylinder head cover – see operation "Cylinder Head
Cover, Remove and Install".
Remove brake servo vacuum line from vacuum pump.
Remove attachment screw (1) and stud (2) from vacuum pump.
Remove vacuum pump.
Install
Insert new seal ring (3) in vacuum pump and coat with silicone
grease (white). The vacuum pump drive dog engages in the camshaft
recess.
Insert new stud bolt with screw locking compound (red). Attach
vacuum pump with fastening bolt and new stud bolt to cylinder head
– tightening torque 21 Nm / 15.5 lbf. ft.
Connect brake servo vacuum line to vacuum pump. Install cylinder
head cover – see operation "Cylinder Head Cover, Remove and
Install".
