Removing toothed belt - see operations "Toothed Belt, Remove and Install", and "Toothed Belt, Remove and Install (modified toothed belt drive)".

Remove toothed belt drive gear – counterhold with KM-942 and KM-662-C (1).

Caution

Do not rotate crankshaft.

When levering out the seal ring, do not damage sealing surfaces.

Remove friction washer – heat with hot air blower if necessary.

Edge out seal ring (2) with suitable tool.

  Clean

Clean sealing surfaces and remove gasket remnants.

Lightly coat sealing lip of the new seal ring with silicon grease (white).

Insert seal ring in oil pump with KM-693-A (1) – use bolt and washer of toothed belt drive gear.

Install friction washer.

Install toothed belt drive gear – counterhold with KM-662-C (2).

Toothed belt drive gear with new bolt to crankshaft – 250 Nm / 184 lbf. ft. + 45° + 15°.

Install toothed belt - see operations "Toothed Belt, Remove and Install" and "Toothed Belt, Remove and Install (modified toothed belt drive)".
