·   The fault is recognized after 180 ms as a fault report from the engine control unit of the Digital Diesel Electronics (DDE) (pulse ratio greater than 90 %)

·   The coolant temperature is higher than 130 °C / 266 °F (voltage less than 0.412 V) or lower than - 40 °C / - 40 °F (voltage greater than 4.922 V)

Note:

The engine temperature substitute value is 80 °C / 176 °F
