Test Conditions

Engine OFF

Press key F5 in the system main menu, select the desired test using the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

Note:

The control unit switches the preheater telltale on and off.

The check is completed after a maximum of 30 s.

Note:

If this test is completed before its allocated time has elapsed (30 s), the diagnosis lamp flashes until another actuator test has been selected or 30 s have elapsed.

The preheater time relay is switched alternately

INACTIVE

Inspection:

Preheater telltale in instrument panel is switched on and off alternately
