New Features for Diagnosis of Electronic Vehicle Systems
Domino Effect
In the Omega - B, three electronic vehicle systems are linked for the first time:
- the M 2.8.1 engine management, - the AR 25 / 35 transmission management - and the Anti - lock Brake System with Traction Control ABS - 2 SH + TC
Communication between the individual control units is performed via individual connection leads to the data bus.
If one of these connection leads has an electrical fault, each control unit can interpret this fault differently, i. e. if a fault occurs, one or more trouble codes may be stored in each of the linked control units.
As an overview, the following three tables list the trouble code combinations that can be expected.
