speed higher than 704 rpm (C 18 XE) or higher than
672 rpm (X 20 XEV)
· Mass
air flow meter signal greater than 505 kg /h
(short circuit to battery
voltage)
· Above
conditions must be fulfilled for at least 3.0 s
Replacement values:
Trouble codes 21 or 22 not recognized:
· The
control unit calculates with an air mass calculated internally from the
engine speed and throttle valve angle
Trouble codes 21 or 22 recognized:
· The
control unit calculates with an air mass resulting from the engine speed
Effects:
· All
adaptation except throttle valve adaptation is blocked
· The
tank vent valve regulation is blocked, the tank vent valve is closed
If trouble codes 21 or 22 were recognized:
· The
oxygen sensor regulation is blocked
Note:
In case of a fault, the system is immediately switched to
emergency operation
