THROTTLE POSIT.

SENSOR VOLTAGE LOW

02, 03, 04, 05

·     Throttle valve potentiometer voltage lower than 80 mV

       (short circuit to ground)

·     Above condition must be fulfilled for at least 0.2 s

Replacement values:

·     Trouble codes 73 and 74 not recognized:

       The control unit calculates with a throttle valve angle calculated from the engine speed and the air mass

·     Trouble codes 73 or 74 recognized: The control unit calculates with a throttle valve angle of 4.2°

Effects:

·     The tank vent valve control is blocked

·     The tank vent valve is actuated to a minimum value

·     All adaptation is blocked

If trouble codes 73 or 74 were recognized:

·     The oxygen sensor control is blocked
