TABLE 2, TROUBLE CODES - Trouble Code 14 COOLANT TEMP. VOLTAGE LOW > < Explanation of Tables

Table 1, Diagnostic Plug (XD or X13) and Voltage Supply, Check

 

TECH 1 refers to Table 1 when the unit is correctly connected but cannot receive any data.

In this case carry out the following tests:

 

       ·     Carry out TECH 1 self - test as described in TECH 1 operating instructions.

 

Important: For this check, TECH 1 must be connected to the battery with the battery connection lead.

 

Check DLC adapter used as described in the TECH 1 operating instructions

 

If data can still not be received after the self - test:

 

       ·     diagnostic plug XD or X13

       ·     engine telltale

       ·     control unit voltage supply

       ·     control unit ground connection

 

must be checked according to Table 1.

·   Lead interruption between Ter. 30 or Ter. 15 and control unit plug

·   Anti - theft warning system or immobilizer blocks voltage supply from Ter. 15 to control unit K69 / Ter. 47

 

 

* Note: After this test step, any stored trouble codes are deleted.
