Conditions for Checking

Ignition OFF

Detach engine speed sensor plug

Connect checking spark plugs to ignition cable for cylinders 2 and 3.

Ignition ON

Engine OFF

Press F5 in the system main menu, select desired test with arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow instructions in the TECH 1 display.

Note:

The checking spark plug is actuated at a frequency of 1 Hz (actuation duration 5 ms).

The check is completed after a maximum of 30 s.
