Note:

Via the 02 BLM IDLE THR., learned additive deviations from the ideal mixture (e. g. due to an air leak) are detected by the control unit and stored in the permanent memory.

The learning process only occurs when oxygen sensor regulation is active and the engine is operating normally.

The 02 BLM IDLE THR. is effective throughout the entire characteristic curve range but predominantly in the lower engine speed range.

The correction values learned by the system are stored in a permanent memory and thus are always available, even if the supply voltage has been cut off and the vehicle restarted.

Using the 02 BLM IDLE THR., the values learned by the system can be evaluated.

To evaluate a deviation of the 02 BLM IDLE THR. the 02 INTEGRATOR must be observed.

If this is also outside the tolerance range, a statement about the engine mixture status can be made.
