Complaint: Noises or Vibrations Grinding noise from the area of oil pump /toothed belt drive during actuation of the clutch.
Cause: With clutch actuated the incremental-disc grates on the water pump attachment bolt casting.

Production Solution:
Remedy: Affected are engines with plant-code:
X20SE 31 ..... or X20SE 39 ......
In case of complaint carefully mill the motor block casting up to a maximum of 2, 5 or 3, 0 mm in the affected area.
If the threaded hole is affected by the milling operation then the bolt should be fitted with adhesive to prevent leakage.
