Poor Engine Driveability

Poor output, jerking. Pressure of fuel system is too low.

Cause:

Insufficient fitting of the distributor pipe to install and seal pressure regulator. O-ring seal can be damaged and increases fuel return.

Production Solution:

As of engine-No. 14 317 460 the fit is correct.

Remedy:

Check fuel system pressure. If value is too low check O-ring seal of the pressure regulator. Replace distributor pipe and pressure regulator if O-ring seal is damaged.
