Oil Return Line – Turbocharger, Remove and Install

  Remove

Remove right engine damping block – see operation "Engine Damping Blocks, Remove and Install".

Remove right engine damping block holder (2) from cylinder block. Remove oil return line (1) from turbocharger and cylinder block. Collect escaping engine oil.

  Install

Install oil return line at cylinder block and with new seal at turbocharger – tightening torque 10 Nm / 7.5 lbf. ft.

Install bracket for engine damping block, right at cylinder block – tightening torque 30 Nm / 22 lbf. ft.

Install right engine damping block – see operation "Engine Damping Blocks, Remove and Install".

  Inspect

Start engine and allow to run until oil pressure telltale goes off. Turn engine off, check engine oil level, correct if necessary.

Check connections for leaks.
