Install
If necessary, install new slip ring into steering wheel hub. In
the installation position the turn signal return segment of the
slip ring points to the left. Lubricate contact surface of contact
finger to contact plate with commercially available contact
agent.
Attach steering wheel to steering shaft as marked –
tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft. Release fastening nut by
90°, re-tighten to 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft. and secure from
loosening with retaining plate.
