Anti - theft Warning System (ATWS)
The anti - theft warning system (ATWS) monitors the bonnet, all doors, fixed side windows, the rear screen and the interior for unauthorized entry into the vehicle. In addition, the ATWS monitors the radio against unauthorized removal and the engine against unauthorized starting.
All functions of the electronic immobiliser are integrated into the ATWS control unit.

Trouble codes can be road out with TECH 1 (section 5.4.9). Changing the batteries in the infrared transmitter is included in the Opel / Vauxhall Inspection System. To ensure that the remote controls are operational at all times, the batteries must be changed annually.
