Switch closed = 0 V, bonnet open

Notes on Trouble-shooting:

Nominal Value:

Cause of Fault:

(If nominal value is not attained)

 

·   Release and disconnect wiring harness plug S120 from bonnet switch

OPEN      12V

·   Body wiring harness, short circuit to ground

     from:    K94/Ter. 27

     to:         bonnet switch S120

 

 

·   Control unit K94 defective

 

 

·   Connect contacts in wiring harness plug S120

CLOSED     0V

·   Body wiring harness, interruption

     from:    K94/Ter. 27

     to:         bonnet switch S120

 

 

·   Body wiring harness, interruption

     from:    bonnet switch S120

     to:         ground

 

 

·   Control unit K94 defective

 

 

If nominal values are attained:

 

·   Bonnet switch S120 defective
