Press key F5 in the system main menu.

Follow the instructions in TECH 1

Start actuator test

 

 

Note:

 

The turn signal lamps are actuated at a frequency of 0.5 Hz

(switch-on time 1 s).

The check is completed after a maximum of 30 s.

Notes on Trouble-shooting:

·   Release and disconnect wiring harness plug from anti-theft warning system control unit K94

 

 

·   Connect wiring harness plug K94/Ter. 24 in instrument panel wiring harness

Constant illumination of: front left turn signal lamp and rear left turn signal lamp

·   Instrument panel wiring harness, interruption

     from:    K94/Ter. 24

     to:         S52/Ter. 9

 

 

·   Trouble-shooting of vehicle electronics in area of turn signal lamps H11, H12, H13, H14 and wiring harness plug for instrument panel/body X1

 

 

·   Connect wiring harness plug K94/Ter. 25 in instrument panel wiring harness to ground

Constant illumination of: front right turn signal lamp and rear right turn signal lamp

·   Instrument panel wiring harness, interruption

     from:    K94/Ter. 25

     to:         S52/Ter. 11

 

 

·   Trouble-shooting of vehicle electronics in area of turn signal lamps H11, H12, H13, H14 and wiring harness plug for instrument panel/body X1

 

 

If nominal values are attained:

 

·   Control unit K94 defective
