Note:

If the TECH 1 parameter IMMOBILISATION remains ACTIVE 0V despite the above check, i. e. the immobilizer cannot be deactivated, at least one key must be programmed in section 6.3.4.2.

After successful programming, the immobilizer can be switched off.

In vehicles which are manufactured for Great Britain, the immobilizer is always ACTIVE when the ignition key is removed from the ignition lock.
