Note:

To avoid excessive heat build - up in the actuators by constant actuation, there is a pause after repeated actuation in a short period of time (typically approx. 12 actuations in quick sequence) (TECH 1 parameter OVERFLOW PROTEC. indicates ACTIVE. The control unit function is interrupted during this period of time.

 

The information on "turn key in ... door ... ° to the left" or "turn key in ... door... ° to the right", in the "Conditions for Checking" column of the following tables, applies to vehicles with LHD.

On vehicles with RHD, always turn key in opposite direction.

In vehicles which are manufactured for Great Britain, the immobilizer is always ACTIVE when the ignition key is removed from the ignition lock.
