Ignition OFF

Electronic immobilizer must be switched off (if necessary, switch off using centre button of infrared key transmitter; only vehicles with infrared remote control)

All doors closed

Ensure that windows and sliding roof are programmed

Turn key in driver's door 30° to the left (vehicle with LHD) 1 right (vehicle with RHD) (central door locking system unlocked and anti - theft warning system switched off)

Press F5 in the system main menu, select desired test using arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

After YES key is actuated again, the central door locking system can send a signal to the sliding roof and the electric window winders:

arrow key Up           -> Signal "close sliding roof / window" active

ACTIVE        0 V

Sliding roof / windows close

arrow key DOWN   -> Signal "close sliding roof / window" inactive

INACTIVE     12 V

The test is completed after a maximum of 30 s.
