Check Control

The Check Control functions have also been integrated into the MID.

The range of functions corresponds to that of the Check Control in the Astra - F.

In addition, the Omega - B also displays two new functions:

-      Automatic transmission (fault in automatic transmission),

-      Brake light fuse (malfunction in brake light).

When the ignition is switched on, all components of the Check Control are automatically checked, and the word "CHECK" appears on the right of the display.

If all monitored functions are okay, the "CHECK" extinguishes within approx. 4 sec., after the brake pedal has been actuated once.

Check Control fault reports are always displayed in lines 2 and 3 and have priority over board computer information.

This information is blocked until the fault reports have been confirmed by pressing either the "R" or "S" key on the wiper lever.

If several faults or defects occur, the reports appear on the display in order of priority.

The first report is displayed for 10 sec., and each subsequent display for 5 sec.
