The well-known range comparison
with Universal Potentiometer KM-644-1 is no longer required.
Range calibration is carried out exclusively with TECH 1 and is necessary
should a tank sensor, MID or instrument be replaced. If the units (F7:PROGRAMMING select system) have been
changed, re-calibration of range is necessary.
Pre-conditions for re-calibration:
- MID has
not stored any trouble code
- The
correct program memory code was entered in programming the MID
- Tank
sensor and instrument OK
· Ignition ON
· Press key F6 in system main menu
· Follow instructions of TECH 1
· Perform calibration: Take
over nominal tank characteristic curve
