This correction option allows differences between the range displayed by the MID and the actual range of the vehicle to be compensated. Only carry out a range correction if the difference between the MID range display and the actual range has obtained for a longer period of time and of the same order of magnitude.

A correction of the fuel content is possible in the range from -3 litres to +3 litres (-1.2 gal to +1.2 gal) in steps of 0.5 litres (0.2 gal). However, only positive values (also "0") may be entered, as entering negative values with low tank content will lead to incorrect displays.

As guideline for the conversion between fuel content and range, apply the following:

0.5 litres correspond to 5 km

(0.2 gal » 3 mls)

·   Ignition ON

·   Press key F6 in the system main menu. Follow instructions of TECH 1.

·   Using the arrow keys, enter the desired correction value and confirm with "ENTER".

In case of faulty correction, TECH 1 returns to mode F6:ADJUSTMENTS.
