following test steps: 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23 and 25.
If the TECH 1 displays WARNING, the oil level is currently too
low or a fault has occurred in the circuit. The malfunction is recognized
directly with ignition ON; when travelling, a certain amount of time elapses
(varying between 5 s and 125 s for the different data list parameters) until
the fault is stored. If the TECH 1 displays WARNING
this can be quitted using the "R" key in the wash / wipe lever. The
TECH 1 then displays WARNING QUIT.
The fault is still present.
If the TECH 1 displays HISTORY
WARNING, the oil level was too low at an earlier time or a fault has
occurred in the circuit. At present, however, the oil level circuit is intact
(loose contact). After the fault is eliminated, HISTORY WARNING can be deleted using TECH 1 mode F 4: CLEAR CODES.
