Note:  The TECH 1 display shows the dampened outside temperature, i.e. the outside temperature averaged over an extended period of time.

The relevant temperature is shown in steps of 0.5 °C and are dampened, i.e. appear after a certain delay. This delay is dependent on the current vehicle speed.
