·   The MID recognises at "outside temperature" input

SENSOR VOLTAGE HIGH

     a voltage greater than 4.77 V (Short circuit to battery voltage or interruption in circuit).

·   The fault is stored directly on recognition.

Effects:

·   The outside temperature display is blocked and "F" appears in the initial MID display.
