· Top up engine oil to
"maximum" mark on oil dipstick

· Release and disconnect plug from engine
oil residue sensor S95
|
|
|
|
· Ignition ON:
|
OPEN 12V
|
· Lead from 12-pin MID wiring harness
plug Ter. 11 via plug connector X2 or X3 (TD) to engine oil residue sensor
S95 has short circuit to ground
|
|
|
|
· MID defective
|
|
· Short-circuit contacts of sensor plug:
|
CLOSED 0V
|
· Lead from 12-pin MID wiring harness
plug Ter. 11 via plug connector X2 or X3 (TD) to engine oil residue sensor
S95 is interrupted.
|
|
|
|
· Lead from S95 to ground (TD) or via
plug connector X2 to ground is interrupted
|
|
|
|
· MID defective
|
|
|
|
|

|
If nominal
